Advanced Family Dental Inc. was opened in August of 2006 and has been growing ever since! We currently have three fabulous dentists in practice at our beautiful office. All of which, are dedicated to the best care for each individual patient, and they work together to meet your dental needs. Along with great doctors, we have very skilled staff that is friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have.
Meet Our Staff!
Dr. Brad Halverson
Grew up in Pomona, California
Education:
B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of California
D.M.D. from the University of Oregon
Joined the Advanced Family Dental Team in 2010
Dr. Halverson enjoys hiking and mountain biking.
He is a veteran of 21 years as a navy dentist, including 6 years in dental research, overseas assignment in Okinawa, Japan, and Spain, and deployment to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait for operation “Desert Shield/Desert Storm” 1990-1991.
Dr. Halverson also donates dental services to Global Dental Relief in Ladakh, India and Nepal.
Specialty: He enjoys patient education and prevention, restorative dentistry, and out-patient Oral Surgery (Extractions, Biopsy, etc).
Dr. Becky Sue Moore DMD

Dr. Moore was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee

Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, MA
She completed her residency the Naval Dental School in Bathesda, MD
Dr. Moore joined Advanced Family Dental in 2010
She enjoys participating in the Southern Utah Chorale (Messiah Choir) as their secretary. She owns horses and loves to ride her horses, and to go hiking.
She enjoys treatment planning, patient education, restorative, and her specialty is all cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry. She is a retired Navy Captain, giving twenty four years of service.
Dr. Brian Harward
From Orem, Utah
Education: Brigham Young University Business Degree
D.M.D. from Loma Linda University
Joined Advanced Family Dental in 2010
Dr. Harward enjoys hiking and all restorative dentistry.
Janie Arnold
Office Manager
Born in Australia
Grew up in, Northern Utah, lived in Southern Utah for the past 20 years.
Became a member of Advanced Family Dental in 2006
She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, movie nights, games and playing with grandbabies. She enjoys remodeling old homes.
She strives to exceed expectations; going the extra mile to meet the needs of each patient, making them feel welcome in our office and feel confident that we will all, collectively, do a fantastic job for them.
Mindy Smith

From Delta, Utah
Became a member of Advanced Family Dental in 2006
Mindy enjoys laughing with her family, camping, and reading.
Her favorite part about dentistry is helping someone to gain confidence by improving their smile!

Grew up in Paragonah, Utah on a small farm
Education:
Attended Southern Utah University and
Dixie State College
Received Radiology certificate from Weber State University
Joined the Advanced Family Dental Team at its beginning in 2006
Angelee has participated in symphonies and choirs in the community for many years. She has been a volunteer firefighter and worked as an EMT for Iron County. Angelee likes spending time with her husband and family, traveling, reading, being outdoors, and music.
Specialty: Enjoys patient education, training other dental assistants, and oral surgery. She loves to serve and give back to her community.
Eddy Dominquez
Dental Assistant
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico
Grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Attends the Cedar City Fire Academy

Joined Advanced Family Dental in 2010
Eddy has been married for three years, he has one daughter and a baby on the way. Hobbies include: hiking, camping, spending time with family, shooting, and sports.
His favorite thing about dentistry is getting people out of pain and participating in restorative dentistry. Eddy is also bilingual and helps us give the best care to our Spanish speaking patients.

Dental Assistant/Lab Technician
Alicia is from Paragonah, Utah
Education:
Currently Attends Southern Utah University
Dental Assistant Training Program
Alicia joined Advanced Family Dental as a lab technician in 2008, and then as a dental assistant in 2010.
Alicia enjoys ceramics, painting, and being an Aunt.
Her specialty is in the attention to detail, she has a lot of skill in cosmetics and making custom bleach trays.
